Aaron arrived on the 28th December, 2 and a half weeks earlier than expected. As usual i had got it all wrong..i had plans to move apartment on the 4th of January and to start taking calls at my new hospital. My term with the government was to be completed on the 10th of January. So when the waters broke on that fateful night...nothing was packed and it appeared like a scene out of a C rated movie.
Anyway I was present at the C section...my wife handled it well.... she was on the cell phone while the surgery was proceeding . I gave all the husbandly support ...holding hand etc.
When the baby was born...family members gave their usual bits of advice and support. Also classic question or should i say concern was ...did he have my nose....
Everyday his features change and as someone commented...the only indian quality he has maintained is his hairy back!!
Anyway everyday is a challenge and it really has changed our lives ...upside down...inside out. Oh dear ...i can hear him crying now....will leave it to Mum to sort it out...too tired...
